Pastel Mini - Indonesia Cooking Recipes

Ingredients

- 250 g plain flour

- forty g butter

- 1 egg

- 1/2 tablespoon sugar

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- sixty ml lukewarm water

- a hundred and fifty g Abon (dried beef) for filling

Directions

1. create the pastry: combine butter with egg, flour, sugar salt with hand. Then slowly pour the water whereas continue kneading till the feel isn't any longer sticky and you'll roll it. When the dough remains too soft, you will add flour.

2.  Roll the dough into 1/4 cm skinny and cut into a cylinder with five cm diameter. Take a pinch of Abon and place within the centre. Fold pastry over to form 0.5 cylinder and crimp at edges.

3. Before frying, store them within the fridge for half-hour to form them firm.

4.  Deep fry the pastry with heap of oil till golden brown.
