Fried Crispy Tofu (Tahu Goreng Tepung)

Fried Crispy Tofu or Tahu Goreng Tepung commonly realize in West Java region. a way to build it's terribly straightforward and fast. typically I prefer to eat it as a side dish with different meal, for instance with plain rice (nasi putih) and Rendang.

Cooking time : fifteen – half-hour

Ingredients

- 250 gram tahu or white tofu

- a hundred gram plain flour

- one tablespoon garlic powder

- one teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- fifty ml water.

Directions

1. Cut tofu one cm thick. Set aside.

2. mix the flour with garlic powder, turmeric powder, salt and water. combine them well. If the mixture is simply too watery, add additional flour. style if it's salty enough.

3. Dip the tofu into flour mixture before frying it.

4. Fry tofu underneath medium heat till brownish.

5. Serve with bird's eye chillies.
